Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Jackson, MS)

Ironwood Bridge Arts Center is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for volunteer programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on visitor services. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
