Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Indianapolis, IN)

Fernwood Wren Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Indianapolis design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in accessibility audits and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
