Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Grand Rapids, MI)

Westbrook Harbor Freight is a Grand Rapids logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on dock schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
