Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Vista Markets and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 439 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in pricing and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
