Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Grand Rapids, MI)

Stonegate Kestrel Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Grand Rapids supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in grant reporting and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on client intake. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
