Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Detroit, MI)

Harborlight Cedar Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Detroit serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Investigate trends in card disputes and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on account openings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
