Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Iron Insurance and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
