Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Cleveland, OH)

Bluepeak Quill Freight is a Cleveland logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Investigate trends in carrier rates and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on dock schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
