Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Chicago, IL)

Cedar Yarrow Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Chicago area, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in group events and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
