Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Chicago, IL)

Cedar Union Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Chicago presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on visitor services. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
