Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Charleston, SC)

Summit Hollow Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Charleston working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on route schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
