Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Buffalo, NY)

You would join a large organisation of about 941 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in store inventory and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on promotions. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
