Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Buffalo, NY)

Summit Sable Financial serves customers across Buffalo with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in payment disputes and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
