Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Boise, ID)

Bright Wilder Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Boise. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on claims. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
