Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Birmingham, AL)

Stonegate Summit Community Partners is a nonprofit in Birmingham supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in volunteer shifts and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on client intake. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
