Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Birmingham, AL)

Amberfield Timber Property Management Group is a Birmingham property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Maintenance and leasing staff share information every day. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on maintenance requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
