Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Austin, TX)

Northwind Wilder Auto Group is a Austin company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 460 people based in Austin. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in parts orders and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on service appointments. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
