Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Austin, TX)

Silverline Umber Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Austin. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in account openings and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on loan files. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
