Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Austin, TX)

Westbrook Meadow Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Austin area, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in pipe repairs and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter reading. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
