Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Anchorage, AK)

Northwind West Freight Group is a Anchorage logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. We reward reliability. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in carrier rates and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer tracking. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
