Senior Data Analyst - customer trends (Anchorage, AK)

Redstone Corner Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Anchorage. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on customer trends. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in supplier deliveries and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
