Senior Content Writer - website copy (Richmond, VA)

Harborlight Haven Insurance is an insurance company in Richmond with claims and service teams, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about policy renewals. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
