Senior Content Writer - website copy (Reno, NV)

Fernwood Meadow Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Reno, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Reno. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about claims. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
