Senior Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Bright Kestrel Community Partners is a nonprofit in Jackson supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on website copy. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about benefits enrolment. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
