Senior Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Lumen North Water Authority Group is a public water utility serving the Rochester area, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would join a large organisation of about 618 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about meter reading. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
