Senior Content Writer - website copy (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Yarrow Energy and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about outage response. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
