Senior Content Writer - website copy (Memphis, TN)

Westbrook Ventures is an arts centre in Memphis with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on website copy. You would join a large organisation of about 872 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about event logistics. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with event logistics. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
