Senior Content Writer - website copy (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Union Civic Services and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Houston. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about case files. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
