Rivermark Birch Arts Center Group runs a venue and education programmes in Detroit. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on website copy. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about exhibitions. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
