Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Tucson, AZ)

Harborlight Orchard Civic Services supports public agencies in Tucson with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 63 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about case files. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with case files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tucson. • We reply to every applicant.
