Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Toledo, OH)

Bright North Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Toledo area, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about billing accounts. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
