Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Ridge Community Partners and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer shifts. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
