Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Quarry Telecom and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about customer tickets. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
