Cedar Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Seattle working with agencies and riders, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about route schedules. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Basic SEO knowledge.
