Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Silverline Rowan Arts Center and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about event logistics. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with event logistics. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
