Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Rochester, NY)

Stonegate Wilder Learning Group is an education provider in Rochester serving students and families, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about attendance records. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
