Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Summit Oak Energy is an energy provider in Omaha focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 183 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about hardship programmes. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
