Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Harborlight Legal Group provides legal services in New Orleans across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about billing records. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with billing records. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
