Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Fernwood West Energy Group is looking for a Senior Content Writer. The job centres on plain-language guides for usage data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about usage data. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
