Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Northwind Granite Housing Group is a nonprofit housing provider in Seattle, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about waiting lists. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with waiting lists. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
