Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Fernwood Fox Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Honolulu. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about attendance records. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
