Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Westbrook Orchard Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Kansas City area. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service installations. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
