Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Silverline Kestrel Insurance Partners provides coverage to households and businesses around Kansas City, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about policy renewals. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
