Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Stonegate Sparrow Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Seattle working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ridership counts. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
