Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Redstone Fern Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Charlotte design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about fare systems. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
