Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Harborlight Nest Community Partners is a nonprofit in St. Louis supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer shifts. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
