Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Hollow Arts Center and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of about 456 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer programmes. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer programmes. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
