Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Harborlight Lakeside Arts Center Group is an arts centre in Cleveland with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about event logistics. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with event logistics. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
