Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Basin Civic Services and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about case files. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
