Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Ironwood Nest Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Seattle, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about repair requests. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with repair requests. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
